In the '70s and '80s, Mother's was the place that many families in Canada, the US, and the UK would head for dinners and birthday parties. With waitresses wearing bonnets and checkered dresses and serving parlor-style pizza among décor of eras past, the restaurant provided folks with a fun and comfortable spot to bring the family.
Now, Mother's Pizza Parlour & Spaghetti House revives the spirit of the original Mother's, which exited the restaurant scene in the late '80s. The new locations, though modern, display many of the same features as their predecessors, including checkered tablecloths, pizza pedestals, and beers served in large, icy mugs.
