Another daily workout has started at CrossFit North Burlington and the group of exercisers is reaching a frenzied state. One person is dead lifting, another is clenching a pull-up bar, and, yet, another is swinging a kettlebell up and down. Overseeing the movements is Coach Brad, a sports science major who has more than 20 years of training experience and a passion for CrossFit's intense, functional nature, which can be scaled for all fitness levels and primal grunting tendencies. Helping with the scalability, Coach Brad and his staff schedule introductory CrossFit Basics classes, where newcomers can learn proper lifting techniques, as well as kickstart classes for those who prefer a barbell-free workout.
