Having obtained a Diploma in Professional Dance, received a ballet teaching certificate, and gathered experience from around the world, Sarah Stewart decided to make ballet accessible to masses—no matter the age or fitness level. As a mother of three, she wants to help other moms get out the house, burn calories, and have fun. During her ballet-inspired workout sessions, women can bond with their babies and carry them in two-shoulder wraps. To those who do not have children or do not wish to train with them, Balletiques offers barre fitness classes, that apart from ballet basics, incorporate conditioning movement, body-weight, and dumbbell exercises.
