For over ten years Bikram Hot Yoga Marda Loop has offered hot, well ventilated, and fun yoga classes, which have attracted celebrity visitors including Lady Gaga. Read on to learn about a few things that make the studio stand out:
- Heat: comes from hot-water baseboard heating, which doesn't blow air around, a common problem for allergy sufferers. The system heats the spacious 1,400 square-foot hot-yoga room to a temperature of approximately 105 F.
- Light: pours in from floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as full-spectrum lights that closely simulate natural sunlight.
- Home: The community feel of the studio is boosted thanks to onsite showers and a lounge area to help rejuvenate after sessions.
- Experienced Instructors: Each 90-minute, dialogue-driven class is led by a Bikram yoga instructor who has been certified upon successful completion of an intensive nine-week, 500-hour program at the Yoga College of India, Los Angeles.
