About Capoeira Camara

Capoeira Camará specializes in the most eclectic form of martial arts. With percussive instruments like hand drums guiding their movements, its students and instructors perform a pas de deux of self-defense maneuvers while keeping their rhythm through dance. Women and men both participate in this Afro-Brazilian practice known as capoeira, and children first learn the basics of coordinating with others before advancing to martial-arts moves.

Capoeira Camará welcomes practitioners of all levels, including kids as young as 4 and participants with no experience at all.
