Lyndsay C. didn't take a straight path to the world of yoga. When she was 16, she lost her mother to pancreatic cancer and decided then and there to devote her life to helping others—but she didn't yet know what that meant. Then, in 2006, she attended a Bikram Yoga teacher training and realized that the method, with its 26 poses and focus on the breath, was supremely healing to her. Bingo. She immediately started researching how to open her own studio, and in the process met the man who would become her husband and House of Yoga co-owner. Together, they lead a team of yogis who hold hot and normal yoga sessions on a slip-resistant and anti-microbial Flotex floor.
