About SnowTips-Bactrax

SnowTips-Bactrax opened 30 years ago as a modest skis-only rental shop. Since then, it's grown into a vast storehouse of outdoor rental equipment, from summertime biking and camping gear to wintertime snowboards and ice skates. We're not talking a bunch of junk—SnowTips carries quality products from Technica Alpine and Völkl Ski, among other top manufacturers—and because the shop also does repairs and tune-ups, the gear is always in prime condition. It's no wonder SnowTips earned the title of Best Rental Shop in the Bow Valley in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
