Blue Roof Distillers is the product of an economical and environmentally-conscious decision made by the Strang family. Sixth-generation potato farmers, the Strangs used their small, unmarketable potatoes for distilling purposes instead of letting them go to waste. Today, head distiller Devon Strang oversees Blue Roof Distillers' main operation: crafting premium spirits from farm-grown, whole potatoes. But that's not the only unique thing about Blue Roof Distillers. Their personally-tailored, recipe-specific equipment cooks, mashes, ferments, and distills potatoes without peeling or dehydrating them, making for a pure farm-to-bottle product.
