About Legacy Cheer Atlantic

Cheerleading is a co-ed sport that combines tumbling, stunts and dance into a fast paced, athletic routine. Cheer competitions are organized into divisions based on age and skill level. Legacy Cheer has placements insteadof tryouts. Athletes are placed on a team appropriate for their age and skill level.Cheer is a unique team sport in that every member of the team is valued equally and is needed to perform the choreographed routines. Coaches work with athletes to teach the skills and attitudes to be successful in a team setting. Safety is a top priority in all cheer settings.

Legacy Cheer Atlantic Learn To Cheer and Tumble Program:

Athletes will be introduced to cheer through a series of stunting, jumps, dances, and tumbling. The intention is that these athletes will be working on skills for 8 weeks, allowing the instructors to build progressive skills. This group will not compete in Cheer competitions.
