ABOUT NORTH AMERICA’S PREMIER VOICE-OVER TRAINING SCHOOL

Founded in 2007 by Michael Daingerfield. Since 2016, On The Mic Training has been managed by partners Michael Daingerfield and Noel Johansen. OTM is the only voice-over-specific school in North America to offer a government-accredited diploma program in voice-over.

The Comprehensive Voice-over Training Diploma Program is offered in-studio in Vancouver as well as remotely, with intake dates in September and March for the 6-month program and January and July for the 1-yr program each year.

In addition to the Diploma Program, Marie Ward, Associate Director and Instructor of the Toronto Part Time Program offers Beginner to Pro VO Courses for all ages and all levels (including kids and teens) in the six main areas of voice-over; Animation, Commercials, Narration, Audiobook Narration, Video games, and Dubbing and A.D.R. We also offer courses in acting, improv, accents to enhance performance skills as well as the Business of Voice-over courses in marketing, branding, S.E.O, home studio mastery, and sound design.
