About King's Town Beer Company

King's Town Beer Company King's Town Beer Company's roots go back nearly 20 years, to when these local Kinstonian boys were engineering their own brewing equipment at home and (occasionally) exploding airlocks during long evenings of late-night brewing. Since then, they've joined forces with local craftspeople to open up their own bottle shop, furnished with a wood-polished tasting bar and refurbished wood pews—not to mention their five-barrel, ten-tank brewing system at the back of the shop. Some of King's Town's premium drafts made here include:

King's Town Ale (5.6% ABV): This easy-to-drink red ale is malt-forward and features a mildly roasted aroma. The brewery (and the city's) namesake mix, King's Town Ale stands as a reminder of the strength and originality of what was once the capital of Canada.

Panacea Pale Ale (4.8% ABV): Named for the goddess of remedy, the Panacea claims to be a beer designed for an easy hangover. Infused with sweet orange and sea salt, the brew's unique flavor and light notes of citrus provide beer-lovers with a hearty dose of electrolytes and vitamin C to help cure what "ales" them.

Back Lakes Lager (4.0% ABV): Inspired by Kingston's surrounding woods and fresh-water lakes, this crisp lager lends itself to warm afternoons out on the boat and snowmobiling sessions alike. The brew, much like the namesake lakes, is free from chemicals and preservatives for a light and smooth finish.

Golden IPA (4.8% ABV): The second in our third crossing series of one-offs, the Golden IPA is our very popular Golden Pale Ale (GPA) that unlike the regular GPA, is dry hopped with Amarillo and Citra hops and aged to perfection resulting in a golden coloured IPA with hop flavours and aroma of citrus and grapefruit.
