About Scales Nature Park

Scales Nature Park introduce visitors of all ages to a host of amphibians and reptiles, both native and exotic.

• The facility: A 21-hectare park—with 3 kilometers of nature trails—exhibits natural habitats like ponds, wetlands, and hardwood forests.
• The animals: Guests can check out over 300 cold-blooded specimens from across 60 some species, most of which are endemic to Canada.
• The experience: Welcoming guides lead educational tours, lectures, and live-animal demonstrations for everything from library programs to schools to birthday parties.
