About Wet Paint Pottery

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?Wet Paint Pottery is made up of studios for drop-in canvas painting, pottery painting and glass fusing. We are open to the public 7 days a week and guests are able to simply drop-in at their convenience and choose from 100's of designs/projects. Our biggest benefit is that customers have complete freedom to create as it suits them; they choose when to come, they choose what type of project they want to do and they choose exactly what they would like to paint, unlike classes where they must show up at a designated time and paint a pre-chosen design which they may not like.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?The inspiration for Wet Paint Pottery was to create a place open to everyone to create, have fun, enjoy time with others or simply relax and regroup. Our mission at Wet Paint Pottery is to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. We help everyone from the "creatively challenged" find their creative side to providing the "seriously talented" with a place that's always ready to get messy in! Our goal is to provide enough assistance that the customer is delighted with their masterpiece.

What do you love most about your job?We love our customers the most!!! We have so much fun watching people of all ages stop, sit a while and simply immerse themselves in the creative process. Their stories are so varied and everyone loves the experience for different reasons. It is truly amazing to be part of such positive experiences for people when they get to lose themselves here for a while whether alone or with friends.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?Many of our customers comment that they just want to stay all day (and they can if they want!!). It is often referred to as people's "happy place".
