Evan was entrenched in the healthcare system before he started EDK Capacity and Consultation. There he saw countless people and families overwhelmed and intimidated by what they faced: complex decisions that needed to be made in an even more complex system. And he saw, too, people who had their autonomy taken away from them through legal means. That's why today Evan's team is dedicated to not only supporting individuals and families through advanced care planning but also evaluating their capacity to make decisions on their own.
