What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

We offer a full 30-minute photo session with a professional kid friendly photographer. You get access to 5 backdrops, props from a rocking horse, bassinet, baby and kids clothing but not limited to and a viewing session of your images same day. We have various custom frames and canvas options. We also specialize in all events – pregnancy, newborn, couple, models, headshots, weddings, engagements, corporate, anniversaries and ID photos.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

My business partner and I worked together for numerous years marketing and selling photography package deals for families in our community with a well-known company. The experience was great, so we wanted to push ourselves and thought, why not try opening our own photography studio. And although becoming a new business owner is challenging, it is always worth it when we see the wide and bright smiles of each family member when we capture their priceless and precious memories.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love about my job is the same as why I started the business to begin with. That is, sharing and capturing timeless family memories with our customers. It is never a dull moment when families come in, especially with their little ones. There are so many emotions that can happen within a 30-40 minute photo session from laughs, tears, frustration, joy and new memories, sometimes even all at once. I see a lot of myself in our customers because I am married and a mother of two, so I understand the anxiousness and happiness that comes from getting every family member in a room at once for photos that we can all laugh about and be in awe about later. Another thing I love about my job is the diversity of needs; we mainly shoot families but also get a chance to photograph corporate, legal and model needs to name a few.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

The best reaction we have gotten from a customer is amazement and contentment when they see their family photos, especially that of the parents. They are always overwhelmed to see their anxious child smiling after been entertained by our patient photographer. We have enough backdrops, lighting, props and our photographer's talent to set any tone our customers are looking for.
