About this Business
Karen Ryan, the holistic nutritionist and author behind Four Letter Wellness, is a firm believer in the correlation between food and mood. She employs her extensive education and experience to help all people eat healthier and live happier, while specializing with youth and adults who struggle in areas such as ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression. Through targeted education, individualized treatment plans, and empowerment, she guides each client through the sometimes-murky waters of nutrition and mental health toward general wellness, success, and happiness.
Being a student of development herself, Karen also understands that education never ends; she regularly attends continuing-education courses and conferences to increase her understanding of nutrition and mental wellness issues. She even authored the book ADHD is Not a Four Letter Word: Drug Free Strategies for Managing the Gift that is ADHD, which reached number nine in Amazon's "Learning Disabilities" category in 2014.
