Beans arrive from around the globe, including the robust flavors of Colombia and the plumy, floral scents of Yemen's rarified coffee. Java can be crafted hot or iced, in a french press or hand dripped, but, the house specialty is syphon brewing. This often overlooked method produces a pot of coffee that is uncommonly clear of contaminants, exposing each sip's unique profile. A syphon coffee pot brews coffee using two chambers where vapor pressure and vacuum produce coffee. This type of coffee maker is also known as vacuum pot, siphon or syphon coffee maker, and was invented by Loeff of Berlin in the 1830s.This type of brewing give the coffee an ultra clean yet full bodied texture and great flavour.
