About GTA Mavericks Basketball Association

The GTA Mavericks are a non-profit organization that offers a unique experience for kids learning basketball, whatever their age or experience level may be.Our activities go beyond simply just exercising and practicing, we teach kids how to exercise and practice effectively so that they can make use of the skills they have learned in other places. We teach kids both how to foster their individual skills, with drills, practices and exercises and also, importantly, how to work well in a team setting.We foster an environment that works to improve communities and brings kids together. We are always trying to build meaningful ties and connections amongst the kids that will endure outside of practice. In times like these, where so many kids have regrettably felt isolated and have been confined indoors on their screens, we are offering a way for kids to release their pent-up energy in a healthy and valuable manner. Beyond that, we hope to instill an eagerness and enthusiasm for sports and teamplay that will stick with our groups.At GTA Mavericks, we seek to show kids the importance of self-confidence and perseverance, values which are indispensable for basketball and a great deal of other things
