The Spice Room culls traditional recipes from across India:
- Starter: begin a meal with the Mulgatawny soup, a South-Indian specialty crafted from yellow lentils and fresh-ground spices
- Entree: vegetarians can peruse a variety of options like the simmered chickpeas of chana masala, while meat-lovers can find lamb, chicken, and shrimp in such selections as tikka masala and spicy vindaloo.
- Dessert: gulab jamun—dough balls served with a sweet syrup—can be enjoyed with masala tea or coffee, or a fruity mango lassi, made with fresh mango and tongue-cooling yogurt.
