What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Yoga Light Studio is quickly becoming known as the top yoga studio in the GTA, mostly because our experienced instructors were hand-picked to offer the best instruction in various styles of yoga including vinyasa, yin, ashtanga, restorative, hatha and beginners’ yoga, as well as specialty classes and workshops such as Yoga for Men, Yoga for Every Body and Meditation. There are over 40 unique classes/workshops per week to choose from, and 2 yoga rooms - one equipped with an infrared heating system to provide the best quality of detoxifying hot yoga, as well as another yoga room for those who prefer to practice in a non-heated setting. The premises are spacious, so that you can relax in the comfortable lounge and enjoy complimentary tea, filtered water systems, and a boutique with all of your yoga lifestyle essentials. Towels and mats are available for rent or purchase, and the facilities include changing rooms, lockers, showers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Yoga Light Studio was founded to provide the community with access to the best Instructors that can help any individual start yoga in a safe way, or advance his/her existing practice through more advanced classes that were not otherwise available in our area. We wanted to practice yoga in a clean, spacious and practical environment, and we knew that our fellow yogis would appreciate this too.
What do you love most about your job?
We love having the ability to change people's lives for the better! It may start as a physical practice that makes you stronger or more flexible, but soon thereafter, a consistent practice changes you as a person!
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Several customers have told us that they have never felt better in their entire lives, since they started to practice yoga at the studio; they've grown stronger & more flexible, have lost weight, reduced stress, and improved their sleep patterns.
