Certified sound practitioner Ocian of Ocian Sound Medicine Music and Journeys doesn't view herself as a massage therapist or energy healer, but rather an artist. One of her chosen mediums? Sound. Rather than making music, however, she has taken a more unique approach, furnishing her practice with a sound table. Within the tranquil CorUnum yurt, it plays tones at ultralow frequencies, and the vibrations therapeutically resonate through clients' bodies. To complement the sound table, Ocian's bodywork sessions include hot stones, relaxation massages, and sound with crystal bowls, a crystal didgeridoo, a crystal lyre, tuning forks, chimes, and vocal toning.
