The Victoria Ultimate Players Society is a non-profit organization that promotes the sport of ultimate in the Victoria area. Ultimate (also known as ultimate frisbee) is a non-contact team sport in which the goal is to move a flying disc from one end of the field to the other and catch it in an end zone. Unique to Ultimate, the sport is played without referees, instead relying on a system of self-refereeing and sportsmanship. Beloved by millions across the globe, the sport is played at all levels, from recreational through professional.
