Setting aside course ratings, hole distances, and other course facts for a moment, there are two important details golfers should know about Water Park Golf Club:
- It has been a staple of Niagara's golf region since opening in 1961.
- Innovative construction allows it to unfurl along the Welland River.
Indeed, the course's unique design has made it a popular destination for more than a half-century. Originally built as a nine-hole course, Water Park has expanded in the years since to a full 18 holes. Today, it tops out at 5,312 yards from its back tees, providing golfers of all levels with an enjoyable, executive-length challenge. The course fills in rounds with wide fairways and sparse roughs, and it punctuates its water-park theme with nearly a dozen shimmering ponds.
