About RSSW Counseling

Hello. My name is Ann Simpson and I am a Registered Social Service Worker/Psychotherapist and am registered with the OCSWSSW.. I have been working in the HealthCare field for the past 15 years as a Registered Massage Therapist and have been taking classes in psychology and mental health. A few years ago I went back to school to expand on my health care knowledge and dedicated my focus more on studying mental health. Because of misconceptions and stigma surrounding mental health issues, people often suffer in silence and don't seek treatment for their conditions. Mental health awareness is an important initiative to improve understanding of mental health conditions.I provide one-on-one counselling and treatment to individuals of all ages who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and trauma. The goal is symptom reduction, improved coping and wellness.I am enthusiastic about learning new skills to further develop my practice to meet your counseling needs.
