The library at Across the Board Cafe is 900 items strong, but it's board games, not books that comprise the collection here. Balderdash, Chinese Checkers, Trivial Pursuit—they're all available for cafe patrons to play, all day long, for a small fee. There's plenty of food to fuel the fun too, from bahn mi-style pulled pork sandwiches on Tall Grass Bakery ciabatta buns to organic crust pizzas piled with everything from artichokes to buffalo chicken. A variety of local beers and imported wines round out the menu, while a selection of cakes and cookies from the Lilac Bakery provide just the right sugar rush to fuel another round of Jenga.
