Dalnavert Museum invites guests to step back in time to 1895. The historical museum is the former home of Hugh John Macdonald, the son of Canada's first prime minister. Macdonald was also a politician himself, serving as a member of the Canadian House of Commons, a federal cabinet minister, and the eighth Premier of Manitoba. Tours of the Victorian-style residence give visitors a peek into the everyday life of the Macdonald family along with views of the impressive Heritage garden.
