KIMA LEE's school is designed to improve safety and prevent crimes in the local community. They do so, by teaching Taekwondo, which is an unarmed combat style involving punching, jumping kicks, and parrying actions with hands and feet. But martial arts develop not only physical skills—they also build confidence, listening skills, and non-violent ways of resolving conflicts.
KIMA LEE school offers a wide selection of programs for kids, teens, and adults. Kids as young as 4 years, for example, improve their motor and listening skills, while teens develop their fitness levels and learn self-defense techniques against physical and psychological attacks. What's more, they also have classes designed only for women.
