During the summer season, clients at H20 Adventures escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a short sail on the Lachine Canal. These peaceful waters provide a rich green escape right in the heart of the very urban Montréal. Future sailors can access the premises riding the subway or the bus, driving, walking or biking. A friendly, certified team welcomes them upon their arrival and rents them a boat for an hour or two. Employees provide lifejackets, explain the safety instructions and help them board their boat if need be.   From two people in a sea kayak or up to four in a pedal boat, clients awaken their arms or legs’ muscles on the canal. For a more relaxing activity, the electric boat welcomes up to five passengers, who, protected from the sun with the fixed awning, admire the panoramic view of this historic canal, which actively contributed to Montréal’s development. Urban cruises at H20 Adventures Located under the Atwater pedestrian bridge, H20 Adventures nautical center rents a variety of ecofriendly boats to navigate on the Lachine canal.  Solo or tandem sea kayaks, pedal boats for two or four, electric boats and rabaska, which holds up to 13 people, are available as soon as May 15 for the pleasure of urban citizens and tourists.
