Microblading:
This cosmetic treatment involves inserting micro-pigments under the skin manually. This technique consists of pigmenting the upper layers of the epidermis. An ultra thin line imitating the hair fills the holes in the eyebrows to make them thicker or make them return to their original shape. The eyebrows are then redesigned and regain their full intensity.
What do I need to know/do before the procedure?
- Do not work the day of the procedure
- Do not tan just before the procedure
- Do not take aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil or ibuprofen 24 hours prior to surgery
- No electrolysis 5 days before the procedure. (Do not undertake an epilation hair removal procedure for at least two weeks)
- No wax, epilation hair removal or dyeing 3 days before the procedure
- No alcohol or caffeine 2 days before the procedure
Follow up instructions 7 days after the procedure:
- Do not wet the treated area
- Limit perspiration
- Do not scratch the treated area
- Do not use makeup and cream
- Do not sleep on the face
Follow up instructions 3/4 weeks after the procedure:
- Avoid exposure to the sun.
