Heat has several benefits. It helps the body regenerate and relax, and even relieves muscle pain. With hot yoga, it’s possible to combine these benefits to fitness!
- $35 for six 90-minute hot yoga sessions ($104.34 value)
Adapted to all ages and levels, the beginner’s hot yoga class at Bikram Yoga Dix30 includes 26 different postures and two breathing exercises. Each posture enables the participants to work specific areas of the body, making it more flexible and resistant. The mirror-covered room is heated to reach a temperature of 40˚ C with a 40% humidity level.
During the exercises, the surrounding mirrors enable yoga practitioners to readjust and correct their postures, making sure not to injure themselves or anyone around them. Each 90-minute class is made to maximize each posture.
The heat during hot yoga classes allows for greater flexibility and minimizes the production of lactic acid in muscles, which usually leads to the pain felt after workouts. Injury risk is reduced and endurance is increased.
On top of stimulating organs, yoga reduces stress, enhances the flexibility of the body, enhances the energy and promotes weight loss, resistance, coordination, concentration and discipline.
Following the hot yoga classes, students find themselves with a healthy body and a clear mind.
