These hands-on lessons include:
- Introduction to Western horseback riding
- Initial contact and introduction to the equine world
- How to brush down and saddle a horse
- Horse handling from the ground
- Basic in-saddle manoeuvres
Torima Farm
Torima Farm is an equestrian centre located just 15 minutes from downtown Québec City, specializing in Western-style horseback riding training for pleasure or competition. It is also certified by the Fédération équestre du Québec. All activities, including riding lessons and competition preparation, actually take place on Torima Farm. A sports-study program as well as a summer camp are also available to teach Western-style riding to younger horse enthusiasts.
