The deal

• $29.99 for a fish pedicure package in one of the 14 available locations ($59.99 value)

The 30-minute pedicure session is done in a single or double station where the water is filtered and sanitized 15 times per hour with UV sterilizers and under the supervision of a technician with hygiene training.

The assigned specialist cleans the feet in warm water and assures that they are suitable for the treatment. The center reserves the right to deny access to people who don’t comply with the criteria. The Garra rufa eradicate dead skin with suction and leave an enzyme called Dithranol on the skin, which nourishes new cells. Skin is left soft and rejuvenated skin after removing old skin. The fish provide a delicate, painless treatment and sense of wellbeing while activating blood flow.

An exfoliating cream and a one- or two-minute massage conclude the treatment with a touch of relaxation that leaves feet soft and healthy.

Docteur Fish

Docteur Fish and its partner spas provide an exfoliating natural, hygienic, organic and original treatment to cleanse and soften feet. The fish pedicure, or ichthyotherapy, doesn’t use products and files. Instead, the treatment uses Garra rufa, Turkish fish with curative and purifying properties. They have been used since the beginning of the 19th century to relieve symptoms of certain skin conditions, such as eczema and psoriasis.
