The teepees, located directly on the Amerindian site, comprises a wooden floor with mattresses on the ground for an authentic stay. If you want the real Amerindian experience, you can also build a sacred fire inside the teepee with the provided fire wood. 

For a unique experience, the rustic wood camp has no electricity and no running water. Located 100 meters from the inn, the refuge, by the Amerindian site, is suitable for adventurers. 

The inn’s rooms provide comfort in a rustic deco and guests can warm up by the fireplace.

Guests taste an authentic local gastronomy for dinner and breakfast. They discover the region’s wildlife at the Museum and the Motokatan site revisits the Native People’s culture through the millenniums with the reconstruction of traditional buildings.  

Auberge Refuge du Trappeur

Only 500 meters from La Mauricie National Park, nature lovers enjoy a peaceful stay at Auberge Refuge du Trappeur. Several activities are available on site such as snowmobiling, dogsledding, skiing, visit of the Native Mokotakan site, canoe rentals or safaris. The place offers multiple possibilities of accommodations: in a room at the inn, rustic refuge or teepee.
