Nestled in Lanaudière forest, visitors enjoy the wood cabins in a calm, natural environment. They escape the hustle and bustle of the city during their stay in one of the environmentally friendly eco-lodges. Built according to strict ecological criteria, these lodges use renewable energy and minimize waste production while promoting sustainable development. Each eco-lodge is made from recycled wood from cut-down trees.

La Vue eco-lodge can accommodate up to four people with its two full-size beds. Large windows provide a maximum of sunlight and let guests enjoy the scenic view over the surrounding forest. The cottage is accessible by car up to November.

Le Bercail eco-lodge is an arbogite (tree house) perched on a rocky promontory. It can accommodate up to six people in its rustic setting with no electricity or running water. A five-minute walk from the lobby, vacationers stay in a welcoming cottage amid a wooded environment.

La Mélodie eco-lodge, the latest arbogite at Chez Roger l’Ermite, can lodge up to eight people with two full-size beds, two twin-size beds and one sofa bed. Inside, guests have access to a fridge and propane stove, both powered by solar energy. La Mélodie is the only lodge that is accessible by car all year round.

Chez Roger l’Ermite

Martin, owner of Chez Roger l’Ermite, has a training in arboriculture. In 2001, after having perfected his skills in Louisiana, he decided to build rustic lodgings using recycled wood from cut-down trees. His rustic wood cabins are located in Saint-Côme, in Lanaudière, and use renewable energy to minimize their environmental impacts.
