All options include canoe, kayak and other watercraft rental and a guided nature tour or a consultation with a nutritionist and access to the fitness centre at Fairmont le Château Montebello.

Kenauk Nature

King Louis XIV must have suspected that the lands of Kenauk Nature overflowed with precious natural resources when he granted it to the first Bishop of Quebec. Within 259 sq. km., this private nature reserve boasts more than 60 lakes and an array of plant and animal species, all protected by a team of experienced biologists. The wild surroundings are perfect for hunting and fishing, not forgetting the other activities available on-site such as clay pigeon shooting, water sports and walking.

But the glamour doesn’t stop there! Kenauk Aventure has partnered with Fairmont le Château Montebello to provide guests with fine dining at the Aux Chantignoles Restaurant, spa treatments and relaxation at the Spa and Health Club, and golf on one of the most renowned 18-hole golf courses in the country.

Kenauk Nature’s guests are comfortably housed all-year-round in wooden chalets that retain a certain rustic charm. Each is on the shores of a lake, is surrounded by woods and can host up to 16 guests for those seeking out a relaxing stay.

Montebello, Quebec, is located almost exactly between Ottawa and Montreal, a little more than an hour from each city.
