Day 1: Canada - Barcelona (Spain)
Flight with a convenient route.
Day 2: Barcelona
Arrival at Barcelona airport and transfer to the NH La Maquinista hotel (or similar). The rest of the day is free to discover the beautiful city. Overnight in Barcelona
The capital of Catalonia, Barcelona, is a city brimming with palpable history, where it is good to get lost in the medieval streets of its Gothic Quarter. The city was built for the pleasure of the senses: travelers can visit the otherworldly modernist churches such as Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia or enjoy patatas bravas with a passion fruit mojito on the terrace of a café.
Day 3: Barcelona (Embarkation)
Arrival at the airport, transfer to the port of Barcelona for boarding of the Norwegian Epic cruise ship. Start of the cruise. Departure at 6 p.m.
Day 4: At sea
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a day at sea to discover the multiple facilities of the Norwegian Epic.
Day 5: Naples (Pompeii, Italy)
Travel to Naples, a city rich in history, located on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Go back in time visiting the great “piazzas”, cathedrals, and castles of the old town. Pompeii, an elegant city characterized by charming streets and a varied cultural offer, is nearby. Arrival at 7 a.m. and departure at 7 p.m.
Day 6: Rome (Civitavecchia, Italy)
An infinity of adventures awaits travelers to Rome. Rich in 2,500 years of history, art, and culture, Rome is one of the most visited cities on the planet. Travelers can admire masterpieces of the Vatican or visit ancient relics, historical monuments, and legendary museums, or simply observe Roman life while savoring an espresso in a picturesque café. Arrival at 6 a.m., departure at 7 p.m.
Day 7: Florence (Livorno / Pisa, Italy)
Journeyers will have the chance to visit Tuscany, from Florence to Pisa — the jewels of art and history. Discover all the main sites of interest in the center of Florence on foot. You can opt to see the church of Santa Croce, the Piazza del Duomo, or make a small jump to contemplate the Michelangelo’s David. Arrival at 7 a.m., departure at 7 p.m.
Day 8: Cannes (France)
Stop at the top of the Suquet hill to admire the sights, from the city to the sea and the islands of Lérins. Then, have fun identifying and counting celebrities and millionaires on the palm-fringed Croisette. Lastly, discover the Cannes’ must-see, the palace hosting the Cannes International Film Festival. Arrival at 8 a.m., departure at 6 p.m.
Day 9: Palma de Mallorca (Spain)
This city, founded by the Romans around 2,100 years ago, has two facets. On one side, it is rich in history and presents a splendid architecture. Visitors will be able to travel into the past by strolling through the labyrinth of narrow streets and paved paths that surround the Gothic cathedral. On the other hand, sightseers will have the opportunity to discover the multitude of city’s restaurants, shops, and party venues. Also, it’s worth to remember that Palma de Mallorca is endowed with a very developed artistic scene. Arrival at 1 p.m., departure at 8 p.m.
Day 10: Barcelona - Canada
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight. End of the cruise. Arrival at 5 a.m.
