Roller Derby is an increasingly popular sports discipline. Players roller skate around a track and attempt lapping members of the opposing team without being knocked out from the track.

As a contact sports, Roller Derby does not lack action. On the next June 28, two local teams will face each other at the Saint-Louis arena. Les Contrabanditas, 2011 and 2012 winners of Montréal Roller Derby, will face La Racaille, an impressive team who won the 2013 Montréal Roller Derby championship.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; the game begins at 7 p.m.

Since 2006, the Montréal Roller Derby league organizes high-level local games with 3 teams who regularly face each other at the Saint-Louis arena. The league counts two elite teams who play against american teams. The Montréal league is the best in Canada and is one of the best in the world. A training team also ensures its succession.
