At dinnertime, gourmets discover new, exotic flavours in the restaurant’s intimate and relaxed atmosphere specially designed to encourage sharing. The four-course meal begins with mezzes presented on the blackboard by Atigh, the attentive owner. Then, the entrée follows, selected from three choices of traditional Mauritanian dishes. A dessert and mint tea served according to tradition end the meal on a sweet note.

La Khaïma

This Mile End restaurant is dedicated to gastronomy and Mauritanian culture, a nomad lifestyle originating from the desert. Traditional décor, service and dishes take gourmets to this African region while aromas of deliciously cooked meals and mint teas fill the air. A boutique specialized in imported products and spices is annexed to this little restaurant.
