To get your fill of thrills and discover Montréal from a new angle, instructors at Laurentide Aviation train future pilots and take aviation enthusiasts on a tour in the sky. Choose from these two options $165 for a onehour flight lesson in a Cessna 152 for one person $226.50 value $199 for a onehour flight lesson or a tour in a Cessna 172 for up to three people $270 value During the first 15 minutes of the flight lesson , a certified instructor teaches participants the basics of operating an aircraft as well as the safety procedures. Then, the crew enters the 110hp Cessna 152 or 160hp Cessna 172 depending on the option. The 45minute flight offers a unique view on Montréal’s business district, MontRoyal or the surroundings natural scenery. This flight introduction allows familiarizing with maneuvers to execute turns, control altitude, initiate landing, etc. Back on the ground, clients end their experience with a 15minute postflight lesson to complete their new skills. Clients who opted for the aerial tour enjoy the scenery to its fullest during the flight. The highwing airplanes have windows that can open in flight for unobstructed views ideal for photographers.
