With a wide variety of boulder and climbing routes available, adventurers are free to give their all to this outdoor sport from the comfort of the indoors. For example, they can train in the RocFit free gym combining cross training with rock climbing.

Budding climbers can take advantage of two climbing types at Roc Fit. Route climbing takes place on 39-foot walls using ropes, harnesses, carabiners and a belaying system. Meanwhile, bouldering is a fun, challenging sport that takes place on 12- to 14-foot walls with safety padding on the ground underneath. With a range of routes of various difficulty levels, climbers can take on a new challenge each day depending on their progress.

Roc Gyms

An affiliate of Aventure X and founded in 1993, Roc Gyms climbing centre is Quebec’s leading indoor climbing center. It consists of an enormous cave, a spacious room 40-feet high and three bouldering rooms including one dedicated to route climbing, for a total of 75 stimulating climbing routes that are modified on a regular basis. An undoubtedly unique experience for corporate events, the center also holds team building conferences and workshops. Mountaineering, boulder climbing and ice climbing classes and activities are all available at L’Ascensation climbing school.
