Muay Thai combines punches, kicks and elbowing on up to eight contact points, while Kickboxing is closer to fitness than combat sports and includes exercises inspired by traditional boxing. Jiu-Jitsu combines several ground fighting techniques, while Cross-Training uses exercises from different sports disciplines for a full body workout.
Titans Academy
Strategically located at the corner of Saint-Laurent and Crémazie, Titans Academy is a newly-renovated fitness centre with three large rooms. The establishment offers a variety of sporting activities including Cross-training, Muay Thai (also known as Thai boxing), weightlifting and more are all available. Instructors are highly qualified, including one who has been nicknamed “Kru Ash” who holds a certification from the World Muay Boran Federation as well as being the association’s representative in Bangkok. He has also trained several UFC athletes such as Elias Theodorou, Patrick Côté, Nourdine Taleb, Steve Bossé and Valérie Létourneau, as well as being the director of officials and referees at the Quebec Amateur Thai Boxing Federation.
Fine Print
Limitations: The members have 1 month to do the 10 sessions and 2 months for the 20 sessions.
Other conditions: $10 fee applicable for magnetic entry card. Boxing gloves not included for classes; available for purchase or lease for $5. Valid for the purchased option only. See the rules that apply to all deals.
