Those who did not buy the Classic package are free to create their own itinerary.   Travellers arrive in New York City early on Saturday morning and leave their suitcases in the Manhattan hotel’s luggage room. Those who opt for the Classic package enjoy their first activity a walking and subway orientation tour to explore the Big Apple. Visitors use the map provided to find their way in the subway and discover Chinatown, Little Italy, Rockefeller Center and the Fifth Avenue prestigious shopping street    The second activity included in the Classic package follows. Visitors admire the breathtaking views of NYC from the Empire State Building’s 86th story. Magnificent sights of the city main landmarks are offered to visitors such as the Chrysler Building, Southern Manhattan with its Freedom Tower built after the September 11 attacks and the Statue of Liberty. By the end of the afternoon, travellers lodging in Manhattan receive their hotel keys while those lodging in New Jersey take the 9 p.m. shuttle to rest in their hotel room.   Visitors can discover the famous Madame Tussaud wax museum in Times Square for an additional $35. They can also savour a typical New York meal in one of the quarter’s restaurants such as Hollywood Planet, famous for its film costumes exhibition or the Hard Rock Café. On Sunday morning, the New Jersey shuttle leaves for Manhattan as soon as 8 a.m. Visitors with the Classic package are given a 4hour city tour with a Frenchspeaking guide living in New York. They discover Harlem, Ground Zero, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Broadway, Times Square, Museum Mile and any other mustsee quarters.   At 2 p.m., the Classic package offers its last activity the discovery of a nature haven in the heart of the city. Central Park, the city’s lungs for over 150 years, has been the prime shooting location for many scenes from popular films and series. The Dakota Building, John Lennon’s residence and his dedicated section, Strawberry Fields, are among the destinations of the twohour walk in the park. The park nature intertwines with the city modernity, which gives a very unique feel to Central Park.       No matter the package selected, everyone enjoys the scenic views of New York during the night tour, starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday. They cruise toward Staten Island, the Statue of Liberty and Southern Manhattan with its famous Brooklyn Bridge. Then, they make their way through the animated quarters up to Times Square and its jawdropping illuminated panels.  At 10 p.m. the New Jersey shuttle leaves Manhattan. At 1030 p.m. and for an additional $25, night owls can go clubbing in one of the greatest nightclubs in New York. On Monday June 24, the NewJersey/Manhattan shuttle leaves at 830 a.m. and visitors have until 1 p.m. to buy some souvenirs or visit one last attraction. At 1 p.m., everyone heads for Québec where they should arrive at 9 p.m. Montréal and 1130 p.m. Québec.
