Guided Safari Visit for Two Adults or One Family at Nid'Otruche (Up to 53% Off)

In good weather or bad, guests of all ages are invited to visit this unique place. The ostrich, an exotic and impressive bird, is the central attraction of the safari offered by the Nid’Otruche farm and visitor centre.

While ambling along this farm’s rustic and wooded trails, guests meet three species of ostrich, each with its own personality. Supervised by guides, visitors also get to observe the chicks in the farm’s nursery and can even touch some of the birds.

This safari will remind guests of Jurassic Park as experts explain the similarities between the ostrich and its ancestor, the Gallimimus.

Guests can taste ostrich meet if they wish, known to be a refined meat that is low in calories.

A new mini-farm with 30 animals is on-site and allows guests to see the animals up close, and even touch them.

Nid’Otruche

Located in Saint-Eustache in the Basses-Laurentides, this ostrich farm and visitor centre offers guided visits and a food stall where various ostrich meat dishes can be ordered, such as hot dogs, hamburgers, poutine and more. Three species are raised by experts in a natural and safe environment. At the store, ostrich eggs, meat, oil, soap and other souvenirs are all available. At Nid’Otruche, children can enjoy an outdoor playground and visit other farm animals, such as ponies, goats and rabbits.
