At first, the therapist takes time to discuss with the client to determine his or her goal for the hypnosis session.

Then, the hypnosis phase begins during which the client enter a state of deep relaxation, which opens the doors to the subconscious. Under the soft spell of the therapist’s voice, the client explores his or her inner world to identify the roots of the problem in order to treat it effectively.

Josée Gascon is a hypotherapist, human relations consultant, and Reiki master at Harmonie Santé. As a member of the Association des Hypnologues du Québec, she uses her listening skills and training in hypnotherapy to help her customers manage their weight, quit smoking or fight insomnia. The sessions (offered in French) can also ease stress, anxiety and migraines. This therapist also offers Reiki training, an alternative medicine originating in Japan. A range of massages are available on-site, performed by a certified and registered massage therapist.
